Application Help Notes

 

Please note that the maximum purchase price for a property under the scheme is £300,000.

 

Please take a few minutes to read over these help notes. In order for us to process your application, we will need to be provided with the following information: 

 

1. A Home Report for the property you are purchasing or a full reservation agreement from a builder if you are purchasing a new build. Please note that early bird reservation agreements are not acceptable.
2. Copies of your previous 3 months (or 12 weeks) payslips for each applicant.
3. A Decision in Principle from a mortgage lender.

 

To help us process your application as quickly as possible, please ensure you send copies of the documents we need in a timely manner. There are 2 ways you can submit your documentation to us:

 

1. The documents can be uploaded as part of this online form;
2. You can email your documents through to firsthomesfund@linksharedequity.co.uk. Please note the largest file size we can accept is 5MB. If your documents exceed this, please send them through in separate emails.

 

Contact Email Addresses

 

We carry out all our correspondence via email. Therefore, please ensure that the email addresses you provide for yourself, your solicitors and your financial advisors are accurate. Incorrect contact details can lead to delays in dealing with your application.

 

Eligible Applicants

 

If you are eligible to the scheme, you will be issued with an Award Letter detailing the terms of your acceptance to the scheme. You will have 3 months from the date of this letter to sign missives and 6 months from the date of signing missives to complete the purchase. Failure to comply with these timescales will mean that financial assistance through the scheme will be withdrawn.
